Fair Usage Policy for Viber Business Accounts

Viber Business Accounts use is limited by Fair Usage Principles as set out below. The Viber Business Accounts are to be used only in accordance with Viber’s Business Accounts Terms and Conditions, and these Fair Usage Principles by Micro and Small Businesses.

Micro and Small Businesses are considered to be businesses, which employ fewer than 50 persons and whose annual turnover and/or annual balance sheet total does not exceed EUR 10 million and which do not exceed an amount of 10,000 messages sent in their Business Account chat per each calendar month (GMT+0 timezone).

The following is a non-exhaustive list of practices that would NOT be considered Fair Usage:

  • exceeding an amount of 10,000 messages sent in the Business Account chat per each calendar month (GMT+0 timezone);
  • setting up or continuing to use Viber Business Accounts by a business, which employees more than 50 persons;
  • setting up or continuing to use Viber Business Accounts, for businesses whose annual turnover and/or annual balance sheet total exceed EUR 10 million;
  • providing services or engaging in the practices prohibited by law;
  • provide inaccurate and up-to-date business details, product descriptions, and pricing;
  • listing or selling products that infringe on copyright, trademark, patent, or other intellectual property rights;
  • fraudulent activities, such as false advertising, price manipulation, or fake reviews;
  • distributing any form of harmful, defamatory, or discriminatory content;
  • listing products or services infringing third party intellectual property rights;

Viber may also determine other practices to be non-Fair Usage, based on unlawful, prohibited, abnormal or unusual activity. If, when using Viber, you won’t comply with the Fair Usage Principles, any other offer terms and conditions or Viber’s Business Accounts Terms, Viber may, at its discretion, terminate its relationship with you or limit your use.
