You will join Viber as part of a product team working together to build the best products focused on the messaging and calls experience.
We’re looking for a passionate and creative Product Manager with a proven ability to deliver on product initiatives. You will join a new team working on a new exciting strategic initiative for the company and lead all aspects of your product, including gathering and understanding user pains and desires, owning the product roadmap, and working closely with Engineering, Data, and Design teams to define and deliver value to our users.
Responsibilities
- Lead a creative product strategy and communicate effectively with your stakeholders
- Coordinate and prioritize allocated R&D resources in a scrum methodology, ensuring they are in sync with domain goals and the product roadmap
- Lead a data-driven and KPI-focused mindset that will be part of everyday decision-making
- Proactively coordinate, challenge, and sync operational and product needs with stakeholders, peer PMs, and supporting company units to maintain an effective working mode and seamless user experience
- Own all aspects of the product life cycle, from conception and design through ongoing support and maintenance
- Push your team and peers for excellence by setting an example
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years experience as a Product Manager in B2C and mobile application products
- The ability to express yourself on any topic in English, verbally or in writing
- A self-starter with a passion and persistence for solving complex problems
- The ability to manage multiple stakeholder projects with competing priorities and limited resources
- You gather people around a goal using interpersonal skills and collaboration, not authority
- A storyteller who uses data to explain the plot and can lay down complex logic into simple words
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, engineering, business)
Advantages
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Experience as a PM in social media products or are a heavy social media user
- Previous experience with the trust & safety domain, moderation models, and guidelines
