We are looking for a bright, hands-on, business-oriented legal counsel to join Viber’s Legal team.

This is a 6 months maternity cover role based in Manilla PH

Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements.
• Provide product counseling and legal guidance on privacy, IP, and compliance matters.
• Advise on legal risks and regulatory requirements impacting Viber’s operations.
• Work on diverse and complex legal matters in a fast-paced, global tech environment.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience working in a legal department of a  high-tech company or top-tier law firm.
• Native or near-native English proficiency.
• Strong negotiation, drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Business-oriented with the ability to quickly analyze new business models and technologies.
• Experience in data privacy matters.
